Carbon Dioxide
The carbon dioxide gas (CO2) is released in excessive amount when people are driving their cars, heating their homes with oil or natural gas, or they use electricity which is being produced through coal.
Along with that, the quantity of trees is getting lower around the world. People are cutting more trees than planting and this simply means there is a lesser amount of CO2 which is converted into oxygen. In other words, the natural process of conversion of CO2 into O2 is being disturbed by humans.
The ability to trap heat varies in the green houses. In some greenhouses, heat is being trapped more than CO2. When one molecule of methane is used, it is 20 times warmer than a molecule of CO2. On the other hand, the nitrous oxide gas is over 300 times hotter than the carbon dioxide.
When scientists research on the greenhouses, they try to figure out the impact of various greenhouse gases and link them with carbon dioxide. For the last ten years, the emission of CO2 has increased by up to 20%. This simply means that global warming is increasing rapidly.
